3:00PM -- Sat in on a conference call with over 15 regional and state representatives to discuss the regional rail intitiative and proposed State bills. Mayor Mike Simpson serves on the regional rail initiative but was out of town, so I represented the Mayor and Frisco on this conference call. <br>6:30PM -- Attended the DBU Tom Landry Awards Dinner. <br>

3PM - I was asked to judge the Easter Baskets at Collin County Association of Realtors (CCAR). The baskets are auctioned off and the funds are used for scholarships. I had a good time judging the baskets with Mayor Steve Terrell of Allen.

4:30PM - Later in the day, I attended the Frisco Square Municipal Management District meeting as a board member, at City Hall.

11:30 - 1:30PM -- Attended the FC Dallas Kick-Off Luncheon at Pizza Hut Park on behalf of Mayor Mike Simpson.

06:00 - 8:00PM -- I was asked to speak at the Relay for Life Survivorship Celebration at Centennial Hospital. I was asked to be Honarary chair for the Frisco Relay for Life event for 2007. As one of the many cancer survivors in our city, I can't express enough the need for us to continue to fight this terrible disease by both volunteering and supporting financially the quest for a cure. Congratulations are in order for all those volunteers who made this event a huge success and I will see you next year!

11:30 - 5:00PM -- We had our all-day worksession with the Arts of Collin County project. I am appointed by the cities of Allen, Frisco and Plano to serve on this commission and am currently the vp.

5:30 - 7:30PM -- Attended the 21 for 21st Century century reunion and to honor the new award winners. I was honored with this award in 2004.

4:30 - 5:30PM -- attended a goodby reception for our Assistant City Manager, Jason Gray. Jason has served the city well and it was an honor to serve our citizens with him.

7:30 - 9:00AM - Attended Frisco Developers Council meeting with other city staff members. This is a monthly meeting that the local developers hold and guest speakers are invited.

12:30 - 2:00PM - Attended first Frisco Association for the Arts Advisory Board Meeting.

This was the last day of school for my kids for spring break. We took the week off and went to Palm Springs. It was relaxing. Of course, City business is never far away and the usual e-mail traffic was still around (typically, 50-100 emails a day). Used some of the time to finish compiling the annual review of the City Manager and City Secretary for Mayor Mike Simpson. See you in a week!
