short paragraph on urban legends. I'm guilty (probably for the first
time!!!) of passing on an urban legend. I usually check and double check all
info to see if it is real. In today's world with the large reach of the
Internet, some stories (fake) never die. The free Bill Gates, Microsoft
or AOL give-away (remember, just forward this e-mail and you will get $$ or
free tickets!) comes to mind! In my last newsletter, I sent the Mars information that was
forwarded to me be a citizen. Well, it was an urban legend. No one caught it
and I didn't receive any e-mails on it. I just happened to recheck the
newsletter and decided to confirm it. There is a great site for checking
urban legends. Whenever you get a message about a missing child or making
money, check this site. You can find it at www.snopes.com. This particular
urban legend can be found at: http://www.snopes.com/science/mars.asp Drought ContingencyFRISCO IMPLEMENTS ‘STAGE ONE’ OF DROUGHT CONTINGENCY PLAN (June 27, 2005) The City of This stage is
