Sorry for sending this agenda out a little late.  Our family took a vacation and we just returned.  It is nice to be home. I have said it before, and I will say it again: There is no place like Frisco!   Also, it took a bit to get the logistics of sending out this agenda since I am no longer a sitting Council Member.  Thanks to Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Jim Joyner and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Joy West for sending me the agenda in text format for me to create this interactive agenda from.

July 4th is fast approaching.  You have probably seen the notices that the City has sent out as well as heard it on KRLD, but just in case:  This years Fourth of July Celebration is not to be missed.  Make sure you visit www.friscofreedomfest.org for additional information. There are way too many events to list here, so take a look at the web site.  My favorites are the Taste of Frisco and, of course, the largest Fireworks Display in Texas!  Tip: Use the remote parking option and avoid the traffic.

Applications will be accepted through July 16th.   Applicants must have resided in the City of Frisco for at least one year.  For Additional information, visit this LINK.  You can also call the City Secretary's office at 972-292-5113.

And yes, I am enjoying retired life. It has been "weird" not being on Council for the first time in 7 years.  I hope to spend more time on the other boards I serve on and help some of our community partners and civic groups.

If you want to send your comments to the Mayor and current Council Members, you can send an e-mail to "mayorandcouncil@friscotexas.gov".  This will reach all of them.  Also, if you have my e-mail address as "mmaso@friscotexas.gov", you can change that to "mmaso@ncc.com".

I hope everyone enjoys their summer and I am looking forward to hearing your comments!

The Community Calendar is now fully operational!  You can view it on my web site or directly at the calendar web site. You can also make your own additions (subject to review), so if you know of any community events, feel free to add them!

You will find the agenda for the next Frisco City Council meeting below.  If you have any questions, comments or concerns about this list, please let me know. If you want to send your comments to the Mayor and Council, simply e-mail "mayorandcouncil@friscotexas.gov".  This E-mail list is run by Maher Maso.  All opinions stated in any e-mail that I send out is mine and mine alone.  This is not an official publication of the City of Frisco and I do not speak for the Mayor or Council.  This e-mail list and these e-mails are sent out to keep the citizens of Frisco better informed of what is happening around them.  If you have received this e-mail from a friend, feel free to subscribe by using the above link. You may share or forward this e-mail to others.

If you plan on attending a City Council meeting and you are not sure what to expect, you can view the ON-LINE FAQ that I created that explains many of the things that happen during a City Council meeting.

For archived versions of agendas and newsletters, visit www.friscofirst.com.  Please note, this agenda is NOT the official agenda of the City of Frisco.  This interactive agenda allows you to find the background information on any issue by simply clicking on it.  If you have any suggestions or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
