MEET CANDIDATES
FACE-TO-FACE AT FORUM
Do you
want to sit down face-to-face with City Council candidates and ask
questions? If so, make plans to
participate in the Candidate Forum to be hosted by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place Thursday,
April 19th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Event Center on the Preston Ridge
Campus of Collin county Community College.
Whether
you are a business operating in Frisco and impacted by the decisions of City
Council, or a resident living in Frisco, these candidates will have an impact
on your future. Now is the time to
participate, ask questions, learn what each candidate stands for, and how their
future actions may impact your business and/or family.
The
format of the evening will allow each candidate to make opening remarks. Those in attendance will then break out into
smaller groups and candidates will rotate from group to group, allowing
interested citizens to ask questions face-to-face.
Early
voting will be available April 30th - May 8th and Election Day will be May
12th. Citizens must have been
registered no later than April 12th to vote in this election. For more information regarding poling
locations and times, please visit the City of Frisco website at
http://www.friscotexas.gov/government/citysecretary/index.aspx?id=3218.
The
candidate Forum is free of charge and open to the public. Citizens are encouraged to participate in
this unique opportunity to get to know your candidates.
