It has been a very busy week for me, so I apologize
for not getting this agenda out a little sooner. I will fill you in on
everything that is taking place in the next newsletter. Don't forget to
lock your car doors, close your garage doors and help keep an eye on our
community. For additional information, visit our
Police Department web page and also
read the
Auto Burglary Prevention Tips (pdf file).
Also, just a reminder, the Community Calendar is now fully operational! You can view it on my web site or directly at the calendar web site. You can also make your own additions (subject to review), so if you know of any community events, feel free to add them! Also, a special area of interest is item 9O below - the temporary closure of DNT during the MS-150 ride. This will take place for only a few hours on a Saturday and I will place a reminder in my newsletter. Another agenda item that I would like your feedback on, especially if you are planning to use the new Recreation Center being built is item 17C. The proposed fee structure is going to be discussed.
Also, the S.H. 121 tolling question is moving at a
very fast pace and is difficult to pass on all the information. Several bills
are being discussed at the State Level. A good web site to follow these
discussions can be found at
http://www.corridorwatch.org/ttc/index.htm. Also, thanks to all those
that contacted their State Representatives - it is crucial that you continue to
do so as the bills are being discussed as you read this agenda!
If you plan on attending a City Council meeting and you are not sure what to expect, you can view the ON-LINE FAQ that I created that explains many of the things that happen during a City Council meeting.
For archived versions of agendas and newsletters, visit www.friscofirst.com. Please note, this agenda is NOT the official agenda of the City of Frisco. I created this interactive agenda to help our citizens navigate through the issues that the Frisco City Council is addressing. This interactive agenda allows you to find the background information on any issue by simply clicking on it. If you have any suggestions or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
